Architecture and Landscape Antonia has experience working in teams developing corporate, public, private and educational spaces. Antonia collaborates with team members to support the development of artworks in building schemes and landscape design as well as designing and developing creative interior and exterior fixtures and fittings. Antonia often collaborates with architects, landscape architects and artists on design teams identifying visual opportunities to add something special and different to projects that ultimately create added value and are visually stimulating setting the overall scheme apart from the rest. Client lists include local authorities (neighbourhood housing, landscape architects, highways, regeneration, planning and development agencies, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hospitals, Community Groups and Resident groups. |

Leeds is on the way to have a fabulous Arena that will hold
more than 13,000 people but what will it look like from the outside?
Will it be iconic?
We have seen lots of fabulous buildings spring up over the past few years and so we have high expectations. Here is one idea for the Leeds Arena. We all need our own guiding "star"

Lead Artist on the design, development and implementation of a new entrance for a communal piece of land in Leeds. Working with Groundwork Leeds and Leeds City Council in collaboration with the local community to assist with the overall landscape design integrating creative ideas into the scheme.
Artists Dawn Sharkey, Dominic Hopkinson and Catherine Gray from Leeds Sculpture Workshop have been working with Lead Artist Antonia Stowe. A community event was held on Sunday 8th November 2009 to show local residents the plans and develop a series of design motifs that can be carved into the stonework on the site. Appointed September 2008-2009 to create an aspirational portfolio for future developers working within the Queensgate Revival scheme and project managed by Loca.
This project is an important part of the planning and design process for the Queensgate Revival project. Antonia worked as the lead artist to explore design ideas for the public realm areas with Huddersfield School of Architecture and schools in Kirklees.

Oakwell

July 2008 to the Project Team to design a faith garden and
sculpture trail porject managed by Loca.
Working with the project team to design a faith garden and sculpture trail in the grounds of Oakwell Hall Country Park.
Oakwell Hall is a manor house built in 1583 and furnished as a family home of the 1690's. It is set in over 100 acres of country park with nature trails.

Drawing up a creative
scheme for open space
Working with small community groups and a landscape architect team to transform a hillside grassy slope into a multi-use recreational facility that is developed with creative features and direct involvement with the community through design workshops. The features under consideration include entrance ways and areas for contemplation, sport, and a children's playground. The aims are to include the local community in this development and to attract wildlife and make it a source of pride for local residents. This work is commissioned by Loca in collaboration with people who are passionate about space.
