As part of a Leeds Sculpture Workshop city centre sculpture trail I discovered that not many people were aware of the fact one of the main bridges over the River Aire is called Queen Victoria Bridge. So I crowned the street lights and the sculptures were an immediate success with people taking photos, touching the fluffy fake ermine and fascinated with the fact something strange had appeared. They lasted a while until they went missing! There is something quite delightful about temporary artworks. They can create a smile in the heart just for a moment.
